Training II 2017/2018

Objectives

At the end of Stage II, students are expected to achieve the following objectives:
1. To show responsibility, interpersonal skills and teamwork, oral and written communication skills and aptitude for the practical application of theoretical knowledge in the execution of the internship tasks;
2. To Demonstrate ability to solve problems, integration in work teams and communicational skills in the performance of tasks agreed in the institution;
3. To Analyze the internal processes of the organization leading to the development of a swot analysis.
4. To Analyze one of the sectors of the cooperating institution using an applied research study.

Recommended Prerequisites

None student can enroll in Stage II without passing Stage I

Teaching Metodology

The teaching / learning method is the tutorial type in the classroom; and the type of practice in the context of work, in the form of Curricular Internship.

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's objectives

The contents of the CU were organized in order to achieve the proposed learning objectives. This is a Curricular Unit of Tutorial Orientation in which the objectives are related to the active learning and to the practical application of theoretical knowledge acquired during the degree in work environment.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's objectives

The teaching / learning methodologies are coherent with the objectives of the curricular unit, based on tutoring activities (in the classroom context), with the objective of orienting the students to the knowledge of the cooperating entity where they will develop their internship ; and in practice in a work context, based on the Curricular Internship format, so that the students can have an effective practical experience of contact with an institution / company in the tourism and leisure sector.
