Objectives

It is intended with this curricular unit that the students achieve the following objectives:
1.To recognize organizational principles of the cooperative institution
2.To describe the cooperative institution through a practical observation and a baseline study
3.To interpret the cooperative institution activity in the context of tourism and leisure sector
4.To demonstrate adaptation capacity to new situations and the acquisition of communicative, responsibility, interpersonal relationship and team work competences; and also ability to apply theoretical knowledges into practice, in the development of the different tasks, such as client attendance or reception

Teaching Metodology

The teaching method is tutorial, in the classroom; and practical in the work context, as a curricular internship.

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's objectives

The syllabus are coherent with the objectives of the Unit. This is a Curricular Unit with tutorial support where the objectives are related with the active learning process and with a practical application in work context of the theoretical knowledges acquired during the three year of the degree.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's objectives

The teaching methodologies adopted are consistent with the objectives of the curricular unit, based on tutorial activities (in the classroom), with the objective to guide the students for the knowledge of the cooperative institution; and in a practical context, with an internship. This will allow student to have a first contact with a tourism institution.
