Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's objectives

The contents of the CU were organized in order to achieve the proposed learning objectives. Theme 1 is related to objectives 1, 2 and 3, and students are expected to recognize the importance of statistical studies in tourism analysis. With theme 2 students are expected to contact statistical analysis software for elaboration of analyzes related to tourism and leisure, and this theme is related to objective 4.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's objectives

The teaching methodologies adopted are consistent with the objectives of the curricular unit, integrating a set of activities that allow students to have the necessary tools to consolidate the acquired knowledge. Firstly, the use of the expository method, coupled with the interactive method, will allow the student to understand the fundamental concepts used in statistics applied to tourism. The use of statistical software will help to consolidate the knowledge acquired and apply this knowledge in a specific case study.
