Psicologia da Sexualidade 2017/2018

Objectives

-To understand the bio-psychological and sociocultural processes that determine human sexuality;
- To distinguish "gender" and "sex", acknowledging the multiplicity of gender identities and gender expressions;
- To know the psychological processes that support the diversity of "sexual orientation" and "interpersonal attraction";
- To know how to relate "sexuality" and "affectivity" in the various configurations of intimate relationships and the various types of erotic and sexual behaviors;
- To characterize the main forms of sexual victimization, as well as the "Sexual dysfunctions" and "Paraphilic disorders" (DSM-5);
- To recognize the role of sexuality for psychological well-being throughout the life cycle.
